Lost Files: St. Augustine Part 2

Hey guys! This is Jocelyne again with more lost files! St. Augustine is such a beautiful place to visit. If you are someone like me who loves exploring and traveling then St. Augustine is a definite must place to go. The weather on that day made everything look so vibrant and colorful. There are so many things to do and many places to see. St. Augustine is just perfect for quick little get away. Once again these were images shot with my Minolta film camera.

Till next time!

Lost Files: St. Augustine Part 1

I was recently cleaning out my desk drawers and I ran into some old film rolls. I had NO idea what kind of pictures were on them or how old they were. It is always exciting to see what these lost files contained! These photos were from a trip we took at St. Augustine. They were taken by a Minolta film camera using color film.

The “manny” ways to love by manny and gabby

You guuuyyysss!!!! I’m so happy to share with you my final assignment in my first digital photography class. I’m in love with these shots mainly because they are two of my closest friends and they are just too cute. ( am I right?! )

In this assignment, I wanted to show a scene that captured their true expression and not just an “act” of love. I was pleased that Emmanuel and Gabriela loved these as much as I did. Could this be the new couple of the year?

summer is that you?

Hello!

After a busy week of finals I’m finally able to share with you one of my favorite photo shoots that I did about two weeks ago. Shout out to Ellen Spivey for these awesome shots!

As you probably know by now, I tend to go for comfort in my clothing. These pants are the definition of comfort. I had gotten these when  worked at HOPE’S, a small boutique store back home. They are currently out of stock but hopefully they will bring something as cute as these again for this summer. I paired it up with a simple crop top I found on SALE at Target.

Click Here to check out their store online!

See ya later!

Spring Time Fun Time

Hey guys!

This week I wanted to start off in style! Bringing back my all time favorite floppy hat to help pull together this super cute and comfy outfit. Jumpsuits are awesome simply because you can totally dress them up or ditch the blazer and get casual. This is the perfect outfit for a daytime or dress it up for a night time look.

Check below for more details on this outfit and let me know your thoughts on this look!

I’m Back!

HEELLLOOOOO!!!!

The moment I saw that I hadn’t posted in 4 months I knew I had to speed this process up. I had given myself a break to think about the blog’s potential and what I really wanted to do with it. It’s still the same ole’ me but a bit more new and revised 😉 I want this to be a place where I can escape and write about what I love the most. After a lot of planning, I can finally say that “This Is Jocelyne” is now live!

I plan on giving reviews, small talks, tutorials, and sharing my artistic work. Believe me, I’m no professional! If there is anything you guys would want to see or discuss, I would be more than happy to post about it.

I hope you guys like this new look and plan on staying here a while. This journey has just begun.

Dark Room productions

This semester I took an intro to photography class. We learned to shoot, develop, and print black and white film. I’ve learned so much in this class and had fun while doing so. Here are some of my favorite prints that I have done so far. All were taken with a Minotla-x370 film camera.

Casually being casual

A couple of months ago I received this shirt form a family friend that told me that I would find some use to it even though it was not my sized. She was right. This oversized button down is now one of my favorite go to dresses. I simply added a thin belt, rolled up my sleeves and there you have it. A simple casual dress that is perfect for any sunny afternoon. You can definitely dress this up with a cute cross body purse and popping jewelry. This is a great way to reuse some old clothing and/or even your old dad’s shirts could work (he doesn’t have to know)
