Its me again, and I’m finally able to share my excitement with ( if you haven’t guessed ) FALL! Although it still gets pretty warm in the afternoons down here, the morning breeze is to die for…..And you can’t forget the countless outfits this season brings us. For starters, here’s one of mine!
This blouse was found on sale (of course) at Aeropostale. I absolutely love it because its loose (hides the rolls ), SUPER comfy, and has cute detailed tassels on the back and arms. Now, let me tell you about these jeans. For starters, they are $7 bucks from Forever 21 and they are so worth your money! You can never go wrong with a good pair of jeans (it also makes the 🍑 look good 😉 ). As for my favorite part of this post…it’s gotta be the boots. I’ve had these boots for a while and I’ve recently rescued them from the black hole in my closet. If you have an old pair that you think are too old, try them on again, and maybe in a different way. You might find the old shine they once had 🙂
Hey guys! This is Jocelyne again with more lost files! St. Augustine is such a beautiful place to visit. If you are someone like me who loves exploring and traveling then St. Augustine is a definite must place to go. The weather on that day made everything look so vibrant and colorful. There are so many things to do and many places to see. St. Augustine is just perfect for quick little get away. Once again these were images shot with my Minolta film camera.
A couple of months ago I received this shirt form a family friend that told me that I would find some use to it even though it was not my sized. She was right. This oversized button down is now one of my favorite go to dresses. I simply added a thin belt, rolled up my sleeves and there you have it. A simple casual dress that is perfect for any sunny afternoon. You can definitely dress this up with a cute cross body purse and popping jewelry. This is a great way to reuse some old clothing and/or even your old dad’s shirts could work (he doesn’t have to know)
Hey guys! I know its been a while but I have been working on some big projects for you so bear with me! In the mean time, I wanted to share with you a quick little photo shoot I did of some dear friends of mine from back home. All these pictures can be found on my new Facebook page ,Famous Misfits Photography , that will be completely dedicated to all my photography work. Don’t forget to give it a like and follow me on my social media (Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest) for future updates.
Heellloo! Its been a while since I posted anything with my girl Lola (Minolta cam). I recently took a trip to the beautiful town of Charleston, S.C. I know it is not a lot but that is because I had a malfunction with my camera so I apologize. However, here is what I took and I hope you enjoy! 🙂
So the big reason behind this post is pretty much an excuse to show off the new members of my shoe family. But first, let me explain why I just had to post this! When it comes to shoes (especially heels), I tend to look away immediately. It takes me forever to break any shoe in, so I rather not even deal with the problem. However, these shoes are now my go-to pair. They may look like another regular pair of wedges but let me tell you something girlfriend…these shoes are magical! Not only are they comfortable, but SUPER cute! I love how these can just tie in the simplest outfit together. I linked similar items of my outfit since I couldn’t remember where I’ve gotten each piece. But don’t panic! The shoes are there and on SALE!
I also want to give a specially thank you to Ellen Spivey for once again taking these amazing shots!
Hey guys! Before I jump into my obsession of my new Michael Kors jumper, I want to thank my good friend Ellen Spivey for taking these amazing shots! Go follow her on Instagram @espivey and show her some love! Ok, time for business. I love this outfit! I want to talk first about this jumper. Even with the high 90 degrees temperature, I managed to stay really cool and non-sticky! I am wearing a size medium and it was just a perfect fit. The adjustable straps were a plus. Being 5’4 did not go well with the length of the jumper. I did have to wear some wedges, but that was no big deal. That is where my awesome Nine West shoes came in. I decided to add a light weight cardigan and to tie up the outfit, nothing says summer than a fedora and some Betsey Johnson sunglasses. Enjoy your summer!
When you get asked to showcase your style, what better place is there than downtown Savannah. It’s historical background and beautiful square gardens were perfect to snap a couple of pics as I was “making my way downtown” (yes, White Chicks fan, I know). This outfit is one of my absolute favorites. It really describes who I am: that boho girl who loves being free, especially when expressing herself through clothes. Recently, floppy hats have become one of my biggest weaknesses. I love this dress in particular because it flatters my body type in a way I feel very comfortable in. Since this is the south, you can’t go wrong by adding some booties (hehe) to complete the look. No need to make a statement with popping colors. Just the right pieces in the right order.
Last year around the month of November I decided to start a new hobby. I purchased a vintage Minolta x-370 camera. This camera is by far the best I have ever used! I am sooo in love with it (its ridiculous). The images came out so unbelievably beautiful especially since it was done with film. I gathered a few of my friends from Armstrong State University and took a photo shoot session in downtown Savannah. The images below were the results.
